PRONATEC, a leader in the production of cocoa, sugar, vanilla, and spices under strict organic and socially responsible standards, has taken a decisive step towards modernizing its supplier network by digitizing its processes with the abunda+ system.
Through our platform, PRONATEC aims to achieve digital transformation by promoting and implementing internal control system management among its key suppliers, as well as the collection and verification of georeferenced data, ensuring complete traceability from origin to final product.
This digitalization not only facilitates a more agile and effective management but also prepares PRONATEC’s suppliers for compliance with key regulations, such as the EU Organic Regulation 2018/848 and the European Deforestation Regulation (EUDR). Thanks to abunda, PRONATEC can ensure that its suppliers meet the required standards while adapting to the market’s growing demands for transparency and sustainability.
With this digital solution, PRONATEC is taking its supply chain to a new level, helping to make supplier management and certification more efficient, precise, and aligned with international regulations.
YACAO laid the foundation for one of the most successful small producer organizations in the Dominican Republic. What began with just 84 families has grown into FUNDOPO, an organization that now supports over 3,000 members. Through the sale of their organic and fair-trade cocoa, these families of small producers secure a stable income. As digitalization becomes increasingly important, abunda is proud to support this transformation. Our app simplifies the collection of key data directly from each producer in the field, ensuring greater transparency and traceability.
abunda’s technology also plays a crucial role in helping small producer organizations comply with the EUDR regulation and meet the stringent requirements of EU organic and Bio certification. By facilitating the management and recording of essential information, we are contributing to a sustainable future for both farmers and the environment. We are honored to be part of this important advancement.

At abunda, we are proud to be part of this innovation and to contribute to the success of Premium Spices as they prepare to meet these challenges.
